The annual anti-racism march, took place in Glasgow on the 25th of November. Organised by STUC (Scottish Trades Union Congress), this event is always held near St Andrews day. Red Front Republic, with many other groups, and individuals attended this march to show solidarity. It was an excellent turnout, with roughly 2000 people attending the march in a cold Glasgow Saturday morning. It’s important to have numbers at these marches and demonstrations, to show that people are willing to stand up for what is right.
On the same day there was a, ‘Veterans against terrorism’ march being held in Edinburgh. The FLA (Football Lads Alliance) were in attendance, although judging by the pictures and videos. it’s failed to take off north of the border.
